Parish Council

Council meetings

Parish council meetings are normally held in the Reading room (above left) at 7.30pm on the second Tuesday of each month, and include an open session that the public are encouraged to attend!

There are also a number of related village committees that meet independently, including:-

The Trustees of the Village Hall

  Blakesley Combined Charity Trust

The Parish volunteer tree warden is Mike Radley.  Footpaths - Ian Spiby

There is a Parish Newsletter published for the Lambfold Benefice, but including much local information.

Which Parish are you in?  Blakesley Parish council also covers Foxley but other local villages have their own arrangements - see SNDC listing.  If you are outside a village you could try the postcode listing on the NCC interactive maps.  Northants regrettably do not provide parish maps as some councils do, though Parishes are shown on OS 1:25000 maps (Explorer 207). You are in any case welcome to contribute to this website!
